HauteHouse Cuisine Announces Strategic Acquisition

Chicago, March 1, 2006 - Chicago-based caterer, HauteHouse Cuisine Inc., and Evanston-based caterer, Fritz and Zoe's Inc., announced a strategic partnership today.  The companies have executed an agreement that includes HauteHouse Cuisine's acquisition of Fritz and Zoe's catering division for an undisclosed amount.

Founded in 1997 by chef and author Patricia M. Butkus, Fritz and Zoe's produces distinctive events for large organizations including Northwestern University, Abbott Labs, WTTW and the Illinois Arts Council.  They also create memorable affairs for private clients in Chicago's Gold Coast and North Shore areas.

"Fritz and Zoe's boasts a stellar market reputation.  We are thrilled to partner with them," says HauteHouse Cuisine's founder and president Kelly A. Dixon.  "And, the acquisition of the new Morton Grove-based commercial kitchen facility further extends our ability to deliver matchless events for clients throughout the greater metropolitan Chicago area."

 "Our vision for Fritz and Zoe's has always been to serve fabulous food with creative flair," said owner Pat Butkus, "We can't think of a better way to fulfill this vision and continue providing distinctive events for our clientele."

Ms. Dixon will remain at the helm of the combined companies as president.  Ms. Butkus will retain ownership of the Fritz and Zoe's book and manufacturing divisions.
About the principals

Kelly A. Dixon is the founder and president of HauteHouse Cuisine, a private catering concern serving the greater Chicago metropolitan area.  Ms. Dixon trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and is a member of the National Association of Catering Executives and the American Personal Chef Association.  Formerly, a senior strategy consulting executive at Accenture, she holds an MBA from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business and a BS in Economics from The Wharton School.

Patricia M. Butkus is the head chef and owner of Fritz and Zoe's, a catering establishment serving Chicago's Gold Coast and North Shore areas.  Ms. Butkus has over twenty years experience in the food industry.  She is a graduate of the Culinary Arts Program of Kendall College and a member of the International Caterers Association.
